Circle has recently attracted much attention due to the hot IPO. Its stablecoin USDC and cross-chain transfer protocol CCTP V2 are now integrated into World Chain. This is not only a regular stablecoin support update, but also a deep integration of blockchain technology with a global network - World has a user base of more than 27 million in more than 160 countries.

Previously, about 2 million users used USDC in the World App wallet through cross-chain bridges. Now, all cross-bridge USDC has been automatically upgraded to native USDC officially issued by Circle, with 100% compliance stability supported by cash and equivalents. This not only improves the security and liquidity of stablecoins, but also allows World users to transfer digital US dollars more safely.

In addition, with the integration of CCTP V2, USDC transfers between different chains become faster and cheaper, and enterprises, developers and users can easily access and take full advantage of the composability of DeFi.

Starting today:

• All World Chain users can directly use native, compliant digital dollars for transfers;

• Compliant companies can deposit and withdraw funds through Circle Mint;

• Developers can integrate USDC into the World App's mini-apps to achieve seamless connection with the world's largest blockchain user network.

Circle also plans to include EURC in World support in the future. This integration marks a key step in the global expansion of stablecoins and brings more opportunities for decentralized finance.

Earlier this year, World (formerly known as Worldcoin) was officially launched in Taiwan. People can visit multiple verification points in Taipei, use the biometric device Orb to scan their irises, activate World ID, and join this people-oriented global digital identity and financial network.

According to its data, more than 13 million people around the world have passed its iris authentication and are eligible to withdraw WLD tokens every month. Under the new measures, users can directly sell them for USDC for wider use.
